Chief Marketing Officer - June 2016 - January 2019, as Badcock and Associates, LLC Consultant
Hired by Susan Joyalle, CEO of SineQuaNon Travel Corp, Flagler Beach, FL, as their startup Chief Marketing Officer (“CMO”) to prepare the startup marketing plan, inclusive of logo development, website collaboration and digital marketing interface (Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter) site development for the company.
SineQuaNon Travel Corp travel agency hosted by Travel Planners International("TPI"). They are part of the Ensemble Group, which exposes them to many top travel connections. SineQuaNon specializes in culinary travel, Susan Joyalle's passion. My mission was to help the CEO get started.
As acting CMO at SineQuaNon, I became a TPI Travel Agent, a member of Cruise Line International Association and National Association of Career Travel Agents. Working next to the CEO in all company business to truly gain knowledge required to create marketing goals and ways to deliver product to the customers.
Attending Professional events such as Cruise 360 with the CEO was educational and important regarding preparation of the company marketing plans. Following the event, we gained certification in Boutique Cruise Specialist and Meetings/Events at Sea. Both educational sessions accounted for determining how much time would be spent on marketing small groups for this agency.
Discovering more precise targeting and markets that met desired area of expertise in the industry - culinary, wine, spirit focused travel. Campaign ideas were developed and social media posts reach out to gauge interests to determine media planning priorities. Continued activity with the organization to build sales leads and customer base via trade events, associations, advertising development and media buys, content management, partnership development, outside sales, social media, brand development and all revenue stream growth priorities.
As part of the marketing plan, the company participated in sales generating local and regional events combined with digital media, print advertising and radio spots. At the conclusion of the Badcock and Associates LLC contract with the company, many other sales generating venues are in the planning stages along with the development of creative partnerships that fit the company niche and customer interest. Winerist based in the UK and Bliss Travels to name two. Both were focused on the primary company interest in the industry - culinary travel.
